The Dairy and Market Camps focus on Showmanship while including all things goat in husbandry, general care, selection, and other important aspects of the goat industry.
Camps are limited to 30 youth in each one, enter early. 60 total youth. Once they are filled, we cannot accept more entries.

Youth Goat Camp Schedule May 31-June 2, 2023
Event location: Swine Pavilion, Missouri State Fairgrounds, Sedalia, Missouri.
Arrival: May 30, 4-8 pm
Check-in: May 30, 4-8 pm & May 31, 7-8 am
Check in health papers, before unloading stock. All pens are assigned.
All stock must have health papers within 30 days of the event. No exceptions.

Any youth 18 and under may enter the Youth Shows. (children do not have to enter the camp to show in the open youth shows)

The Program:
Each child receives a work book of information with a schedule for the short week. This is included in the entry fee. The work books are full of information that a parent may read, at home, and work/practice with their child.
The first day is May 31, at 9:00 am. We have a personalized T shirt for each youth that attends. The t-shirt will be mailed prior to the event, we will notify you of the mailing. We ask the kids to wear it the first day.
